The sun is out too here - but we did have a mega hail storm 20 mins ago and it is rather windy!

Booked in for Sunday Roast at the pub and will no doubt stay far too long and drink far too much :-)

I was right not to trust the weather...its pissing down now again

I keep thinking that every drop of rain we get now means less in June ... but I'm not sure it really works that way!

Matt, a Sunday Roast at the pub sounds great (I'm a veggie but love roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, veg, etc).  I'm jealous!  I'm in by myself doing boring chores, and listening to the Mystery Jets (one of my discoveries from Brave Sir Robin's spotify playlist).

I am a veggie too - so my 'roast' consists of a spinach, cranberry and cheese wellington - with all the normal roast dinner veggies, yourkshires etc........ non nom nom

The sun is out again now..... for 5 mins.

I am listening to music on shuffle and New Order have just come on whlist researching Scottish Wildlife trips.

You should go on a Trees For Life week! There's a chance it could be a bit basic for you but it's a good way to meet people and plant some trees.

Just had a look - thank you........ sadly I fear my knackered back would not let me get away with it but I shall look in more detail later.

Now you're just trying to make me jealous ... and succeeding!

Yes, I'm really enjoying them!  I'd literally never heard a single track by them until last month.  Now listening to John Grant - had only heard one track by him before, but now GMF is my current favourite on the whole of the Spotify playlist.

Yes they are ... Couldn't resist singing bright eyes whilst running under the pyramid eating Lindt bunny and drinking a desperado ( in a can) :-)

Ha! I hadn't considered the Art connection. My mum always used to get me a lindt bunny, I had a collection of little bells at one point.

My parents never gave me a Lindt bunny with a bell.  I'm starting to think they didn't love me (sob).  As Tommy's already become a second mum to Matt(hew) perhaps he can be a substitute mum to me as well?  No wiping of noses required here - just the giving of a Lindt bunny at Easter.

I'm afraid I'm too much of a tight-arse to buy them before Easter.  I wait til they're half price or less afterwards and pig out then. I have miscalculated some years when they've sold out by Easter and I've had to go without.  My parents never gave me a Lindt bunny either,  but I think they weren't widely available in those days. Or maybe they didn't love me..

Oh the gamble of waiting until after Easter and then the shops selling out .. To be fair they were easier to bring over and less to carry than eggs, plus they kind of fitted on the farm :-)

and they tasted bloody marvellous too :-)

Did you eat all of them?  I'm impressed.

Great pic by the way.

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
    • Seems to be getting reported as his only headline show in UK, I would say he's probably out BST now but can be on the Sunday teatime glasto slot or something
