Great photo, Matt! Do you take lots of photos at Glastonbury as well?

Funkyfairy, that sounds great! Where are you flying over from? I've never been to Glastonbury at this time of year.

Just from the Channel Islands, really wanted to see the area/site outside of the festival and couldn't bare to go if I didn;t have festival tickets one year, so as we were lucky again this year we have grabbed the opportunity. Flying in tomorrow morning, out again Monday evening and hoping to walk the site, climb the tor, visit Stonehenge and generally explore :-)

If you have time while you are in Glastonbury take a couple of hours out just to sit and watch the world go by. I've spent many a hour doing just that, the sights and sounds will astound you

Off to watch Batman V Superman tonight :-)

Ooh, reviews have been distinctly mixed to say the least. Interested to hear how it is.

Gorgeous morning up in Glasgow today, I'm up early even though I'm not working. No plans for the day, will see how it goes.

I have purposely stayed away from trailers and reviews mate. I am taking my rapidly growing 12 year old nephew/wingman with me. Hes getting to that age now where he is going to want to knock about on the park and the like on a Friday night. I am hoping to get tonight, Captain America, The Avengers and Suicide Squad out of him this year before he starts getting too cool to go the flicks with his geeky uncle :-)

I got to sleep at 1 woke at 2 was awake until 4 woke briefly at 5 for 10 mins and then i'd forgot to switch my alarm off which went off at half 5

Thankfully not working today so i can be as lazy as i need to be :)

Im going next week, my mates really looking forward to it but i remember afflecks last attempt at playing a superhero so im less keen

That being said ryan reynolds did redeem himself in deadpool after the green lantern so it might be better than i thought

From what I've been reading Affleck's one of the only positives, the other being Gail Gadot's performance as Wonder Woman, she's meant to be excellent.

I'm not even sure I'll bother going to see it. Not seen Deadpool yet and that and 10 Cloverfield Lane is ahead of it in the queue.

I'm pleased that we may only have 4 more days to wait for the first line-up poster - but at the same time I kind of wish it wasn't happening on Tuesday.  I'm taking my son away for a couple of nights, but now I'll be checking my phone every few minutes!

How about getting someone to text you when the poster's up?

Have had a blissful day.  Played badminton and won for once, spent some time watching the frogs in our pond,  had a lovely wallow in the bath, and now enjoying a glass of merlot.  The rainbow maker in our east-facing kitchen was working this morning, now the sun's bright and high enough to shine on it.

And there's a high chance of overdosing on chocolate.

Have a lovely weekend peeps.

I only know one other person going to Glastonbury, and (unlike me) he's not likely to be excitedly waiting for the poster to appear.  But it's fine - my son knows I'm going to Glastonbury and will probably be looking over my shoulder to see if there's anyone he recognises on the poster.

Sounds a lovely day!  And I'm fascinated - what's a rainbow maker?

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
