I'm in Glastonbury and its yukky weather here. But off to explore in the rain :-) climbed the Tor yesterday and sunset, visited Stonehenge , the riflemans and drank loads of varieties of cider along with eating vegan food. Oh and drove through pilton .... Yesterday really fuelled my soul :-) have a great but soggy Saturday everyone xxx

Sounds a lovely day!  And I'm fascinated - what's a rainbow maker?

It's a piece of Swarovski  crystal about 1" across which is attached to the inside of the kitchen window, and refracts light into loads of little rainbows when the sun shines directly on it.  There's a small solar powered motor which rotates the crystal, causing the rainbows to move all around the room.  It's so much better than my description, and makes breakfast in the summer months a delight. Probably the best £20 I've ever spent.

Been far too much weather here today for my liking.  I had to wade through a car park which had become a river to get to my car to unload some shopping, then had that lovely sensation of cold wet-to-the-knees jeans clinging to my legs as I trudged around the supermarket!  Home warm and dry now, about to finish the merlot.

Sounds like an excellent bit of kit. Where did you get it from?

Hi FF have you managed to dodge the wet stuff today?

Yes thank you dizzymoo, actually did ok , it was damp, and chucked it down but managed to dodge the worst. Glastonbury abbey and Glastonbury town yesterday  'twas lovely. There was a medieval Fayre on at the Abbey which added an extra dimension :-)

Hoping if the rain holds off to walk the farm  today.  Happy Easter sunday one and all xxx

I would think large parts of the farm will need a canoe today - maybe you could take one down and hide it in the trees just in case it is needed in the summer.

Ooh, I want a rainbow maker, I want a rainbow maker!

Thurlow, were you playing rugby or watching?

I've spent the last hour on my laptop looking at fleeces, airbeds, phone chargers, etc.  Suddenly it feels like Glastonbury's not too far away!

I only watch these days....too fat to play with my dodgy knees

Hope the weathers picking up for everyone else too :)

The sun is out too here - but we did have a mega hail storm 20 mins ago and it is rather windy!

Booked in for Sunday Roast at the pub and will no doubt stay far too long and drink far too much :-)

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
    • Seems to be getting reported as his only headline show in UK, I would say he's probably out BST now but can be on the Sunday teatime glasto slot or something
