Funkyfairy!
If my maths is right that's a 1.036% price increase. Disgusting Not if they were 220 last year :-) - yes if they were 225 last year !
cdm22
Its £228 + £5 fee + around £7 postage, so more like £240.

big__phil
car parking passes have gone up by £10 This annoys me. So £35 now?
Funkyfairy!
Ouch for campervans and parking - wow - thats a hike of prices
whisty
car parking passes have gone up by £10 Scandalous increase. Always suspected it was a great money spinner, that or the other landowners demanding more.
cdm22
So two people taking a car will have to pay £508 before even putting their tent up! Hmm. (Yes we could get a bus, but that is £70 per person from Cambridge!)
5co77ie
This annoys me. So £35 now?Yes, probably those neighbouring farmers wanting a bigger price tag
tweed1981
Yes, probably those neighbouring farmers wanting a bigger price tag Deffo, and/or they are trying to do a bit more for the environment and scare people away from driving, I suspect mainly though its is all linked to why they have suggested moving the festival as the land owners have them over a barrel. Calvin Klein
Is the yearly increase mostly due to inflation? (I'm not from the UK).

Don't think it'll scare me (or many others) from driving...£67 per person return from Leeds on the coach so that's £134 for me an my missus. I never use anywhere near £99 in fuel there and back so to me, the coach option is more costly (plus I can bring more in the car than on a coach). I'm all for 'green' but can still contribute something to offset my carbon footprint out of the money I'm saving by driving. If they want to get more people using coaches then the cost of the coach fare needs to come down.
rikkirascal
I think putting the deposit up to £100 would help when paying the remaining balance later on. What do you think?

It would make it harder when getting tickets in groups.
