If Foo Fighters Are confirmed now for Pinkpop and Werchter due to this year cancellation, It is easy to predict that they will be the 1st headliner for that and that's the reason it can be announced so early. Edited August 28, 2015 by johnybegood

I would be really surprised if Foos were announced. They playing in Poland in november, and Opener usually don't announce bands that already have gigs booked in Poland

Me and a few mates are thinking of going to Open'er this year (flying from England), so has anyone got any advice on what to bring etc? How best to get there? Camping situation? 

We went to Benicassim last year, so if anyone has been to both as well, any info on how they compare would be great!

You can't drink beer whilst watching the bands. One reason why I've never considered going.

I wouldn't count on it. I was at OFF festival last year and it was at best draconian for taking drink into the arena.

Unfortunately, we still have strict law about buying and dirnking alcohol at massive events... that is why there are some areas where you can drink beer and you cannot take it to the stage.... 

Today's announcement made me change my decision about attenting Rock Werchter - I will probably head to Gdynia after 5 years of break

When I say get around it, I meant more that hopefully shouldn't affect us that much haha Brilliant announcement yesterday as well! Puts less pressure on myself to get TLSP tickets on Friday now

Saturday headliner is left to announce. I don't think tickets have ever sold out, but apparently they will this year. Could be pretty soon after the next announcement if it's a really big act. Things have been quiet for a few weeks after some regular announcements so hopefully they'll be some more news soon.

May not actually be full lineup but something should be announced.

 

Sigur Ros and LCD are co-headliners on Friday, Saturday headliner is the only one still to come.
