Can I buy wellies at the festival?

Your prerogative but wellies are probably the least of concerns for weight considering how essential they inevitably be.

 

Nothing worse than arriving at a muddy festival, with no wellies or they're locked away under your 2 crates of lager and not being able to access them.

They all looked really fucking smug at one point at another festival where we had a deluge of rain within hours turning the place instantly into a swamp with everyone else trapped in flip flops/plimsolls.

bought mine at Glastonbury 2008 when it was muddy and raining and think they were only about £10-£15

Get a decent pair of walking boots, put em on Wednesday morning and peel em off on the Monday. Only thing I take of any value is a good pair of waterproof, hi top walking boots. Wellies make my toes numb.

Don;t get the welly hate, i love mine. Walk the dogs in them all through the winter. I am also a Hunter w*nker but got a good deal, too boring to explain but they were the princely sum of £25 and in a nice colour. Have served me well for 5 years now. 

So if I rock up to the efests meet in lilac hunters (which i wont cos ye know, its gonna be a scorcher) please don't judge me.
