Watching Dave makes saves has been the highlight of the season! Sadly he only has a few games in a Utd shirt left I suspect.

Some great saves again today. Wonderful goalkeeper. I pray Real get the paperwork done in time this summer...

5.4.89 - The date of Hillsborough. A few lowlifes keeping it going though - not a majority. The debate keeps flaring up every year around these incidents but think if you take a step back, it is generally hopefully dying out.

The majority of their away fans joined in on S*n was right.

That was the most disappointing aspect of that at Anfield. So many of the away fans getting caught up in it. Id love to know how the likes of Irwin, Pallister and Cole reacted to those around them at the time, if they did at all. They must have felt embarrassed and ashamed to be in with such folk

They will this time. Sad thing is that no one could blame Dave. No Champions League next season and if he wants to take over from Casillas soon he'll need to be playing in the big games.

I just hope LVG is replaced sooner rather than later so the new manager has a chance to try and convince him to stay. Somehow. Without De Gea Utd would be bottom half this season and would've been on the end of a few proper thumpings.

Yeah apparently a bunch of idiot Pool supporters that were in the home section tried to unfurl a banner! Utter knobs............

Just banter innit? No provocation intended at all. Always like this with Utd, can't take a bit of harmless footie bantz etc etc etc.

You could probably say that for the last 3 seasons.

The guy is immense. And to think when he first came to Utd some were not convinced at all.

he had a whole load of cock-ups at the start, tho.

I can remember that I took the piss, but I also always couched that in "he might come good, but..." ... cos he was a bit shit at the time.

Even fergie thought so, as he alternated DdG with the other guy (I forget his name) for a while.

Been charged for 'arriving late for kick off' as well.

If there were a few people chanting the nasty stuff, then ban them. But how they can do this after the United fans last week (and a few last night) is hilarious.

Ah well.

LFC should appeal that.

I look forward to UEFA's evidence of LFC's "illicit" chanting and the people receiving life bans.

Meanwhile the couple thousand cowards in the away end last week get on with denigrating the innocent dead and being in contempt of court.

Apparently "Munich, Munich" was chanted by a few dickheads. Lifetime bans is too good for them

I hope they get banned if true - haven't heard anything credible about this and wasn't audible at all on tv but can't imagine every single one of 3,000 was perfect...

But was it enough to warrant a charge considering last week.

Imagine they will in fairness.

Anyway, enough about UEFA.

Decided to go to a couple of games in Europa this season... Went to the Calderon on Tuesday to watch Atletico. Wonderful experience. Great fans, great atmosphere and a great team to watch in my opinion. Went to the Nou Camp earlier in the season (to watch them play Atleti), which whilst an experience, was nowhere near as authentic.

Definitely worth trying to go to the Calderon if you can before it closes in a year or so.

The chanting was reported in the Echo. The impression I get it was by a few when the flag was attempted to be unfurled and this happened after the game.

I may have this not 100% accurate but thats how Im reading it.

No action taken against Utd fans for last week is a farce

Got a link?

Edit: Ignore. Seen the video, it's during the fight after the game.

Well reminded, thanks. Think I'll make Spain my next European trip mainly for this reason

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
