Congrats!! I've seen many a thread from you over the past week so I'm glad it paid off :) Hopefully we'll start to see some more happy people drip feed through on this thread in the next few hours.

Must have missed it..... What time did it come up?

I was on the waiting list and received an email saying they will be realeasing the places in small amounts anytime between now and 5pm so stay glued to the website. I noticed on the cancellation info it said 6 weeks before the festival which was last week so no doubt they could well have a few available now

For those of you who've just been succesful, congrats.. I did this the last couple years and have some basic information if this wasn't your plan and so haven't researched it..

- Most shifts are on of the 6 main Pedestrian Gates (A, B, C, D, Pennard Hill, West CV) which are open 24 hours and have a rolling shift pattern - so it's typical to get 1 each of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am spaced out throughout wednesday-sunday.

- There's also gates which aren't 24 hours, shift patterns on these can vary a bit but should still be fairly spaced out.

- Most of what you'll be doing is either checking tickets+photos, or directing people towards/away from the gate.

YESSSSSS!!!!!! GOT IN!!!!!

I think I can take my boy tooo!!!!!!!

Yes you can, as long as he's under 12 so doesn't need a ticket, and there's someone available to look after him while you're on shift.

It says I've applied but didn't give me the option of paying does that mean I haven't got it? I'm so confused!!!

That is what happened to me, I called them and they confirmed places were gone. You need to click  remove and hope there are more..... fingers crossed! I am not moving now until 5pm :)

I got the same - SAVE THE FORM YOU'RE ON!
When the next batch get released just submit it.
I had time to go through and actually read all the options and correct the mistakes I had made in haste. Opened another window and did the F5 dance, as soon as a batch were released I submitted the other form.

    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
    • 1. Coming with my sister (our 4th Sziget together) 2. 3 days (Thursday-Saturday). Would rather do Tuesday-Thursday but not enough AL 😞 3. Wednesday evening  4. Apartment  5. FATM (will be my 10th Florence’s gig) 6. Parcels/Paris Paloma
    • Temperature was the main issue - luke warm at best
