I know the feeling those lucky people had last Thursday, over the moon for myself but feel horrible for those on here who havnt been lucky today with the Oxfam stewarding

Enjoy your good luck! Don't feel too sad for us ticketless souls. I think most of us have accepted that it's highly unlikely we're going but it's really heart-warming to read about other peoples good-luck as we all understand how much getting a ticket means to some of you.

Yes I feel the same.
I think I was lucky that the Oxfam system gave my slow brain a chance to read and understand what was going on so that I was ready for the second round of places.

Sorry to everyone who missed out...although it does look like little chances keep popping up for the determined.

We will get there somehow! I'm really chuffed so many people were successful again today!

I'm still keeping the faith, although after today and trying and failing to get the oxfam stewarding I just think this may not be my year :(

The fat lady hasn't entered the stage yet so, although we keep saying 'right, that's it.  let's just forget about it this year' I just can't and i'll keep going until there's nothing left to try.  It's an annual pilgrimage for me and I'm determined.  started to fill in the Oxfam form but I need 2 tickets for me and my other half and he's not in just now so no guarantee we'd both get them. There's always the remaining competitions I suppose.

I hope you are not referring to Adele. (that is tongue in cheek and no offence meant as I adore her) Like you I am determined and will not stop.... However this quest is having consequences on my family life and it's sooooo tough on the soul!

Lol.  Feel your pain.  I still have a massive 'to do' list which has been dormant for 2 weeks. I feel worse than I did when I didn't get tickets last October., and April.  I think it's because of all the effort we've put in. But, there's still over a month to go and miracles can sneak up on you unexpectedly ; )

Interested to hear about the volunteering.  What festivals have people volunteered for and whats it like.  Considering volunteering for a few festivals other than glastonbury.  Is it just all youngsters?  Im in my forties so any advice gratefully received.

Sorry off topic slightly but ive had enough of refreshing for tonight?

DC site services still have applications open, I got accepted for them today but then cancelled due to getting a steward position with Oxfam. If you select to work at Glastonbury you will have a better chance of being selected if you sign up to do smaller events.

DCSS have a mixture of Volunteer (typically 3 x 8 hour shifts) and paid (typically 5 x 12 hour shifts) - which were you accepted for?
