If I get a coach ticket does that mean ill get a ticket?

yes but you *HAVE* to travel on the coach.  no paper ticket is posted, and you collect your ticket on the coach

no, the tickets are only given on the coach usually halfway through the journey

bugger. How much stuff can you take on a coach? Tent, 2 camping bags, pillows, sleeping bag, alcohol box and trolly too much?

If I purchase 2 coach tickets (manage to purchase...) can one of us go by coach and the other by car and meet them there?

Nope. You get the tickets on the coach meaning you have to get the coach to get the tickets.

when i went by coach a few years ago , we had to go to the ticket office to collect the tickets. So i think it'll be ok

Thought that was it, because it happened on the hour. As WhatsApp Group 1 knows, whoops!

Gonna get myself some Ben & Jerry's (half price at Asda!) later, because stress.

They will tell you how much you can take when you book but you will have to pack light.

My theory...

See might be sorting out some screwed up transactions or special customer cases that need resolving (e.g. "You refunded all my tickets but I only wanted 1 done!". It could be that they're able to restrict tickets available according to specific registration numbers so everyone else can't get through to buy but the people they want to can.

Possibly, it depends on the driver and how full the coach is. Some people have managed to get trolleys on and others have been told to take them off. We always pack lighter when travelling by coach and ultimately we end up having just as much fun.

They could do this on the phone, wouldnt open up a public purchasing system on the off chance someone else gets them

    • Sadly, the ticket map below screams rear 5 blocks not on sale or never have been on sale. Especially when you look at the blue blocks with rows of unsold tickets.   And I say all of this as a big fan of Muse.
    • Personally, I don't think there will be any changes to the queuing system in place for the 2025 sale.  GFL will be aware that true bots are a risk, but they may also see large collectives of organised folks running multiple devices, containers or profiles to get an advantage as bots themselves, and then struggle to know where to draw the line without penalising folks who are simply more on the ball than others.   They will also be acutely aware that engineering tech to close those gaps will cost, and therefore eat into the money they are able to pass to the Charities, without passing those costs on to punters in the ticket price, which they will be cautious of doing especially after a 2 year break and the inevitable media coverage that will get.   This may all be naive and overly trusting of me though.....
    • went to their album launch show last night at the george tavern. it was fantastic! absolutely roasting in there though
    • I got mine yesterday but they sent the wrong ticket link, so had to email Ticketmaster and get the right one.    As for predictions, hard to see who else could do the Pulp/Sting/Byrne slot other than the Cure, and since they did Isle of Wight they maybe have an FR deal (Sting did both). It’s also the Cure’s 50th next year so imagine they’ll be doing a bigger tour. Pet Shop Boys or Kylie maybe?   Wolf Alice would be a dream. It’ll probably all be men again though.
    • Probably a couple of months yet....last ticket sale announcement was 10th October 2024.
