Ive got a plan RE SeeTickets. Check on LinkedIn who is a high up person. Call the number and say 'So and so has asked me to call to confirm the time for release of Glastonbury tickets, I've forgotten their extension number' hehe

Hahaha I've been away for less than an hour, and I've just seen several pairs of shit pants and that Michael Ball has died.

BRILLIANT.

I honestly think this is as amusing as Glastonbury itself now. If we don't get tickets, can we keep this chat up?

not sure why people think hassling See is going to help!

Yeah it's getting out of hand. There is becoming a level of hysteria now. It'd be disappointing but its not life and death and there are other things to do on a weekend in June!

Yep and there are other festivals to go to! And competitions to enter to win tickets.

I was only kidding with my See Ticket posts :(

I didnt mean on here :) I just meant calling, tweeting, emailing and facebook messaging them demanding to know if/when there will be resales isn't going to yield any benefit, and probably just going to wind people up.

Ohhhh. I don't think their social media teams will actually know anything.

The post man is at my door to deliver a dress I ordered but I've stayed in bed and ignored it... Not worth the risk!

AMAZING!

Exactly.  And broadcasting it on twitter has turned it from a secret resale to a "resale with an unknown time"

I'm all for goading the See tickets engineers who are clearly watching and laughing on this forum :)

    • Sadly, the ticket map below screams rear 5 blocks not on sale or never have been on sale. Especially when you look at the blue blocks with rows of unsold tickets.   And I say all of this as a big fan of Muse.
    • Personally, I don't think there will be any changes to the queuing system in place for the 2025 sale.  GFL will be aware that true bots are a risk, but they may also see large collectives of organised folks running multiple devices, containers or profiles to get an advantage as bots themselves, and then struggle to know where to draw the line without penalising folks who are simply more on the ball than others.   They will also be acutely aware that engineering tech to close those gaps will cost, and therefore eat into the money they are able to pass to the Charities, without passing those costs on to punters in the ticket price, which they will be cautious of doing especially after a 2 year break and the inevitable media coverage that will get.   This may all be naive and overly trusting of me though.....
    • went to their album launch show last night at the george tavern. it was fantastic! absolutely roasting in there though
    • I got mine yesterday but they sent the wrong ticket link, so had to email Ticketmaster and get the right one.    As for predictions, hard to see who else could do the Pulp/Sting/Byrne slot other than the Cure, and since they did Isle of Wight they maybe have an FR deal (Sting did both). It’s also the Cure’s 50th next year so imagine they’ll be doing a bigger tour. Pet Shop Boys or Kylie maybe?   Wolf Alice would be a dream. It’ll probably all be men again though.
    • Probably a couple of months yet....last ticket sale announcement was 10th October 2024.
