I always feel that Glastonbury is four hours behind in comparison to normal life. In other words everything you do at Glasto is about a few of hours out of sync.

It may be a bit earlier as there is usually a band starting at 10:30/11 ish

I fondly remember years ago sitting outside Dance West on Thursday listening to them soundcheck with "Release The Pressure" - but they kept cutting it after the relatively gentle intro

None the less it was spine tinglingly exciting.... had to exclaim fuck this and walk off after the fourth or fifth turn of disappointment but it really got the juices going

I heard Reflektor a lot of times last year. No idea which stage it was coming from though

Pyramid on Saturday, they played it about 5 times and it's no short song! A good wakeup to the day, especially as we were seeing Arcade Fire

The Pyramid played Reflektor continuously last year on Thursday and I think each morning to test levels. Could hear it up in Hitchin Hill. Was pleased as I LOVE ARCADE FIRE.

We camp in Kidney Mead and hearing those first sound check beats blast out over the Pyramid field is always a special moment. Whenever I hear Reflektor it takes me straight back With goosebumps.

If I recall correctly, in 2011 the Friday soundcheck on the Pyramid was the opening riff of 'Mysterious Ways' by U2. That was pretty cool.

We camped in Park Home last year, nothing like the sound of Arcadia's fire blaster things going off all day to wake you up!

I camp in Kidney Mead. I find the soundchecks are louder than most of the bands!
