I'm feeling pretty knackered today. No energy so got a roast in the oven in the hope it will pep me up a bit.

Been playing Mitzy roulette today as well (well everyday really)

Where I take them theres all sorts of pools of water. Some clean and some really sludgey. She likes to jump in them all. So its a flip as to which one she jumps in last.

so its clean dog vs bog dog.

Today it was clean clean clean clean bog clean bog car. :(

Was interesting yesterday seeing how they make the turf, first time seeing it in action. Miles of the stuff out drying in the sun.

Not a bank holiday weekend here so in work tomorrow. Although next weekend is and still working on the Monday and start at the ungodly hour of 8am. Means I have to get up at 6am! <cries>

Seriously need to start taking some time off. Got two weeks to take before September not including time already booked for festis.

Hey cg.

Congrats on last night shift...always a lovely feeling...

Have you got anymore nights to do before GF?

I've only got one weekend on duty (lots of weekdays, mind!) between now and the festival, so that's a real incentive - get through that and I'm pretty much there.

Hope tonight goes quickly and trouble free.

:)

evening everyone

my days been spent watching rubbish tv i recorded, got latest planet of the apes film on then going to finish the day off with Foo's at 1 big weekend to get the glasto excitement levels up a lil bit :)

I'm gonna watch Jamie T on the second stage (streaming on the Radio 1 website). Alt J were on before. They were ok. I do like both their records, but feel that they have not really progressed as a live act since I saw them in the tent at Green Man in 2012.

I genuinely fear fro their ability to hold a crowd as big as the main stage crowd headlining Latitude in July...

Right, Jamie coming' on...

Getting worried about my energy problems especially with a month to go till Glasto. Think I need to start eating some superfoods but no idea what they are. :O

What they are, HMV, are a load of old bollocks! Weren't you having some bloodworm recently, looking at your anaemia, B12 etc? All OK?

I agree Benny but not feeling any better and totally mangled today. Feel hungover but hardly drank yesterday, had a small glass of wine out then soft drinks and a glass when I got home. Really really struggling.

Even forgot my friends name last night when introducing her to others and I've known her for a long time.

On folic acid for defiency and taking 5mg a day but haven't noticed any difference.

I really want to get the most out of Glasto cos need the escapism but constantly napping.

Oh, HMV...

You must be pretty run down from all your revision too...

Do you have any more exams before the festival? I've got a sneaking suspicion that you do.

Just listen to your body, discipline yourself to get to bed a bit earlier than you might usually. Try to do some exercise - just simple stuff is fab for sleeping better and therefore feeling more rested. What about Pilates? I feel crap if I miss classes for too long, and it's mended a back that was bloody crap for years!

Then there's the obvious of eating well - not like an obsessive, just well. And earlier!

What an old woman I am.

No, thankfully next exam wont be till September. I also get exercise cos I walk really fast and take the dogs out everyday down the bog.

I am terrible for going to bed early, always fight it but didn't get up till 1pm today. Woke up at 10am and was knackered so had another snooze.

Hate getting up so late cos it feels like a day wasted and makes me feel crappy.

Eating well when you live by yourself is something I do struggle with but made myself a roast and had a full bundle of griddled asparagus (full of green goodstuff including folic acid)

I'm sure I will be able to get through on unbridled excitement when I get to Glasto but just getting a bit worried at the minute. Was awful out last night cos I was too tired to properly engage with friends I haven't seen in fecking ages. Will blame the exam I suppose.

Just the past couple of months I've had to have a nap in the afternoon if I exert myself and I am not a napper.

Ill stop moaning now.

Moan away, you.

And you may rely without any doubt on my energy being a surrogate for you and carrying you through the whole thing!

(I actually mean that...:) )

    • Yep - Richard Tandy was in the band.
    • There was 1 other member of the band present, keyboard player, if I recall correctly.

    • Aye I'd agree with that. I very much do find myself being more prepared to pick and choose now. I'm also prepared to wait for any "on the day" discounts from people who can't go.
