Splendid!!

Hows Baby Gumby?

He's good, thanks for asking Lucy. Today he's looking forward to helping the grandparents do their shopping (he's weird like that!), while I do some work on their garden. Hoping the skies clear up for that! Off for a walk along a Gruffalo trail in some woods at the weekend too, so I think he might pop with excitement! :)

Morning.

Cabbages cabbages.

Hey ho, we can't do anything about it now,

Off in new bus this weekend, going to Crossways near Dorchester, going to stay in the forest (may just stay there for ever) no internet and poor TV so away from the real world and cabbages.

Hugs to everyone

Enjoy - forests are good and give wellbeing.

Late morning greetings, chums.

ugh for results this morning :-( I will just bombard my mp and councillors with letters now, through gritted teeth.

Ma-in-law was counting last night, is she allowed a phone to text??? No secret details, but chitchat to MrsCJ throughout the early hours!

The only good news is my van is now fixed, cocktails all round in CV East.

Happy dad birthday lg, group hugs all (can't believe a fb friend is saying the voters have spoken, and just sit back for 5 years!)

Sounds fun!! I remember you saying recently he was a bit screamy, but I suppose thats the terrible twos?

We may all need to borrow Baby Gumby for a visit to the kidz field!! :)

I don't smoke but will settle for you selling the rosemary and donating the proceeds to a local charity.

Just remind me who I am cos I will forget!

You have a deal my fine squire

This bag, does it need to have hula hoops in it? I've got an empty one. Mmmmmm, filled a spot till lunch.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
