Just from reading the eFests piece, he sounded fun and very different, I'll have to get the book.

Morning all, hope the world is good wherever you happen to be in it.

Going to Andrew Kerr's celebration of his life - I hope it is a giggle (in the nicest possible way) as it always was when we were with him.

Hey ho soggy doggy time

Help needed from the clever people.

How on earth do you do roasted vegetables. I just can't get them right.

I cut onions into quarters, carrots in quarters(lengthways), throw garlic cloves in unpeeled, quarter peppers, cut potatoes into wedges, drizzle in olive oil + sprinkle rock sale then roast on 180 for about 40 mins, then keep checking until they look like they've caught some colour, but have not yet gone black. Can be advisable to put spuds on the top shelf.

EDIT; If I'm doing French beans, they go in near the end. Celeriac needs to be cut up fairly small. Parsnips should have their inner core removed and I like to cut them in half.

So on the meet front we have:

The Park

Glade Lounge

Circus area

I think that was it????? Correct me please and add other superb ideas :-)

One other possibility I thought of. In the corner of the Other Stage field, the other side of the Glade from the Lounge/Spike/Spaceport area was a nice open area with a couple of shelters. One was a big pointy white tent with wooden benches underneath, and the other was a sort of spider web looking cover. I'll try to post a photo ...

Yay, it worked!

Anyway, It's near the Solstice Bar, and there's plenty of room (not sure how busy the Glade Lounge gets, but it's right by a pathway so space is limited).

Just a thought!

So I spent 5 days at GF, spent time in the Other stage area and did not see this!!!

Epic fail

Are there bars near by?

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
