Morning folks.

Went for a walk with Big Dog down to the farm yesterday afternoon....even BD looked at me as if to say "oh no it's too f88king hot"...anyway it's all looking lush and green. The Pyramid still has her coat on but apart from that not much evidence that anyone was there.

Morning all!

Splendid weather here too. I even had to aPPLY FACTOR 50 TO WALK HOME AT 5PM YESTERDAY! Oops sorry, caps lock!

Btw, I am terrified of Ikea, you are so brave!!

Thoroughly appropriate use of CAPS there Luce. My pale, strawberry blonde daughter was also covered in factor 50 for a 10 minute trip in her buggy to swimming yesterday.

The sun gods are having a party!

All I know about ikea is apparently they do good meat balls

I have heard this, although I have not tried them for I think they are beefy and me and beef are not friends! They do nice spinach and ricotta pancakes. Although I have only been to IKea 3 times, and two of those were because I was forced. The third was when I had to buy a voucher for someone and almost had a mild panic attack because it is so terrifying. *shudders*

I resorted to photographing the layout as I had exit rage once and couldn't get out without a 4 hour diversion.

yesterday, I self medicated by taking some pencils for diy and golf scorecards.

    • Stadium gig/s 100% 2027.   As for the offer - dunno what to think. The source is very well placed and, to me, the timing checks out - I'm basing that on the stadium gigs coming after an arena tour... coming after a new record... following a record that propelled them to the next level.   As I keep saying with any info I've shared for Glastonbury next year, though, none of it feels nailed to me.    I assume that they're doing a half decent job of keeping things quiet (still early, I guess). It's all little bits of stuff doing the rounds in the industry. There's none of it that I'd hang my hat on right now. The bits I've shared - I thought they were worth sharing, given the source. Chat about Madonna, the Fontaines snippet, chat about Fender.    A gun to my head right now - Madonna would still be my number one bet. More of a gut feeling, but I feel like the recent doubt may be the festival and/or her people trying to calm the noise a bit after the Graham Norton slip, rather than a u-turn.
    • Have settlers people started receiving their car park passes? I was sure I had bought one, but cant find a receipt for it and nothing through the post yet.
    • @northernangel Are Wolf Alice not in the conversation? They just did a sold out Finsbury Park to 45,000 people, if they're ever gonna get the push it's now.
