NOT started packing!

I've got my essentials together, also writing my list tomorrow and packing on Monday to get train Tuesday morning. I find ticking off a list the best way to remember things from past experience. Also waiting for weather forecast Monday/ Tuesday morning for a few items

A list is essential for me also. Not only for it's ability to ensure you have brought everything you need, but also for the joy of writing a list in itself. Lists are ace, and ticking all the items off a list is heaven brought to you in list form. Talking of heaven - do you think it will have bureaucracy? No need to answer. In fact, please don't.

Clothes were packed back at the start of June (parents taking a campervan and offered to load it up with our beer and clothes), so god knows what I packed.

Still lacking a tent and the usual bits and bobs though- sleeping bag, glucose tabs, hand sanitiser, etc. Having to trek down to Sussex tomorrow to locate my boyfriend's tent, almost easier to just buy another one really but ah well.

I kind of feel like I should have prioritised *slightly* differently...

It's things like sun cream, torch, baby wipes, that I tend to forget. Yes I can buy them when I'm there, but heaps more expensive and frustrating when you know they're sitting at home.

Not fussed by writing the list, but I do take great pleasure in ticking everything off and knowing I'm prepared, than getting there tipping everything out my backpack trying to find something. Quite frankly that's wasting time chilling on site and getting a nice cup of tea on Wednesday morning

Packing takes about half an hour. I'll do it Tuesday. I have no idea how/why people stress about it: I open my bag, and put the stuff I wanna take in it! How can that be a hard thing?

Yes, I've had this argument hundreds of times with the missus . .

I was thinking to myself that i am a bit disoraganised this year, then i remembered i was still fittint the interior in my camper at midnight on Monday last year, i will probably be done for 2am Tuesday morning this year.

At this time every year I just go to a few websites offering festival lists of stuff to bring and plagiarise those.

Ended up packing tent, sleeping bag etc a month ago as its neater in the bag then strewn around the living room. I will finish packing <1 hour from departure as usual.

Nice tip. I've saved mine from last year, and picked up room saving tips from travelling. Will go and check out websites and see if missed anything.

Would rather have a chilled out packing session than rushing on Tuesday morning. Getting quite excited now

Not packed a thing yet. I have a list - but not actually put anything into my rucksack yet. Travelling slightly lighter than normal this year as I am getting a train from Leeds to Bristol to meet a friend instead of getting a lift the whole way.

I've just started lying my stuff out on the bedroom floor. It's a start, but soon gave up

The main reason I haven't yet packed is because I need to pop to the shop for a few more cans of cider. They go at the bottom of the bag (heaviest lowest) so nothing can be packed until they're in.
