Another option could be to check if the crow's next have anything on the Sunday night. From what I recall their line up doesn't show the set that people play into the night and I know some pretty decent acts played there last year but don't honestly know how late they went on.

I'm in the same boat - so much downbeat/depressing stuff at the same time! Basically, if I end up at Massive Attack it will be an admission on my part that the weekend has beaten me and I'm waving the white flag!

Am sure something will come up. Was in the same boat after the Pumpkins last year. A group of about eight of us walked past the Spirit of 71 stage on the way to to check out the non-existent 'secret guest' at The Park and accidentally ended up going absolutely mental to System 7 followed by Eat Static for two hours.

What time are Jagwar Ma likely to be on on the Williams Green? Are they really likely to clash with the subs?

Theyve done this to me for the last two years, Sunday night and nothing grabbing my fancy.

This year I think I'll mostly be heading to Gaz's Rocket Lounge for Pronghorn and Hightown Crows. Obviously it depends if you like that sort of stuff,

Pronghorn describe themselves as "The Undisputed Kings of Cowpunk and purveyors of the hardest and finest banjo/fiddle action you'll ever come across."

Hightown Crows are purveyors of "Dorset's finest rockabilly blues".

I too was one of the idiots who went up to the Park Sunday last year after hearing Bowie was playing, I knew it couldn't be true but I just couldn't risk it! anyway we then had possibly the best night of the fest just popping in to various places all off the cuff, maybe thats your best option?

Just had a quick look at Parlov Stelar and even though its not my scene I quite liked what I saw.

Peace x

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
