Vintage Trouble - the lead singer Ty Taylor is definitely channeling the spirit of James Brown from somewhere and the band are as tight as anything you'll see all weekend. Clashed last time with the Stones which was more than a little unfair/unfortunate.

I haven't seen them before but I've heard The Subways are full of energy and great live, so looking forward to seeing them.

Lana Del Rey, Toy, Manics, Rodney Branigan, Metallica, Kasabian _ all excellent live acts. I saw St Vincent last year with David Byrne and she was very good.

Elbow and Guy Garvey always a feel good factor and something a bit more challenging but very rewarding is Tuneyards.

yeah that was kind of weird (and a bit embarrassing to watch - i just wanted it to end but it kept going and going). hopefully none of that bullshit at Glastonbury (although she seemed quite fond of all the quirky hand movements / dance moves etc so i expect something like that)
