I'm not clear about what S2H means either. If you have wifi set up on your phone, it will use that network in preference to 3G. However, there are posts on how IP addresses are handled by See, and if duplicate requests arrive (eg 3 laptops and 2 phones in 1 house) will they receive mixed or reduced priority... The counter argument is to switch off wifi on the phone, so it uses 3G and comes to See separate from your network.

Your IP address will be given to you by your ISP and whoever uses your connection (ie domestic users) will have the same IP address. Underlying technology or ISP configuration will carry out any translation to get the web page back to the originating requester. There are posts about multiple tabs versus windows, but I think that's about multiple tab issues, and not connections.

Cool, thanks all! So I have two computers through the work internets, one ipad through Wi-Fi and my phone through 3G. Am I covered?

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ANY WORK?!

Been looking at my silley Phine, A galaxy something on Network 3............... at is is always on 3g as it seems wifi is off unless I turn it on!!

Mumbles words about phone under breath and puts kettle on..................

So you mean you dont have wi-fi on? Well yeah it wont default to wi-fi unless you have wi-fi turned on you silly moose! Because how's it meant to know the is a wi-fi signal near by if the it's not set to receive a wi-fi signal :3
