Does John Frusciante never tour ?

Did any of you hear his last album though :/ the are very few albums I'd call a 'true disaster' but 'PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone' is the text book definition of a disaster.

Just noticed he's released an album since then, but yeah that album is legit 0/10 material and I wouldn't give a 0/10 to my worst enemies.

I really hope you weren't singing praise to 'PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone'

i'm a big fan of Frusciante's earlier work (Niandra Lades and Usually Just A T-Shirt, To Record Only Water For Ten Days, Shadows Collide With People and some of his others) but he's kind of just fallen into music w*nkery these days. downloaded his new album but, like the previous one, thought it was a bit shit

such a shame that probably the only time i'll ever see him live was his final Chili Peppers show which was a total trainwreck which he clearly had no interest in

I hated the first time he went electro but this latest album sounds good to me... It can be a bit strange like he's just put dance beats in randomly and it doesn't work all the time but there's some really good songs on it I think.. I still prefer his more straight forward older stuff tho

Not heard anything of his for a while. How does this latest album stack up to Shadows Collide? I absolutely loved that album. I'd give my left nut to see John play that album at glasto.

It's nothing like Shadows unfortunately, a bit better than PBX but still nothing incredible unlike Shadows, to record only water, Empyrean etc. Would love to see him tour but not sure he will again unfortunately
