Love wear this thread has got too.

If he was to appear I'd save my jizz for a fortnight and chuck it in his hair at the opportune moment! Citing the line from the legendary silence of the lambs move but with a little twist "I can smell your a c**t"!

you said there is "a need for massive change in public opinion/cultural differences, a hell of a lot. If we're talking on a global scale."

This is happening, for free. Awareness, that's all that's needed. Awareness is freedom

Whatever you do once you're out of bed has an opportunity cost. Not everything involves currency, but all activity is ultimately economic. "Time is Money" isn't just a glib cliché from the '80s.

so if you're asked if you want to spend some time with people you enjoy, you go through a mathematical process as to how much that will cost?

to be able to spend time with your child, reading and playing with them, is governed by how much money you have.

We live in one of the most capitalist countries on the planet. Money rules everything here.

Sorry to keep banging on about this, but there are many people who don't have a choice to spend time with their kids or work.

If they don't work, they don't eat, have clothes, heating....

Shameful in the UK in 2014, but true.

So yes, Thatcher's free market did win!

    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
    • Very sad for Greazy Alice
    • Nino 3.4 anomaly already in 'very strong' (>2.0C) territory.  That's very impressive for July which is still early days for El Nino development.
