Last year I had a KFC on the way down Tuesday tea time and didn't have anything to eat then until 3am Sunday morning. Foolish in retrospect but was too ruined with other things.

I am yet to try the "Fowler Growler", if it's still at Glasto then I'll look forward to a not-so-wholesome bun with big fat chips, topped with bacon and cheese plus any sauce of your choosing! Any clue if they'll be there?

I think the best bacon butty breakfast I had last year was from a stall to the left of the Pyramid, no idea what it was called but was on Monday morning and remember wishing I'd discovered it earlier.

Mezze platters in the Park - go for the 7+ items option. Stuffed vine leaves, baba ghanoush, hummus, feta and spinach filo parcels, spicy bean stews, flatbreads. Mmmm..

Thali Cafe - although, sadly they don't do actual thalis, as in their restaurants. The curry is still damn nice though, as are the Mumbai snack boxes.

Native American stall somewhere between West Holts and Circus Fields. Delicious.

No Bones Jones - one of the best veggie eateries on site, and every time I've been to see him, the guy has been happy to let me have a bit of everything on the menu for a very reasonable price.

Carribean stall between Other and Pyramid. Have a lovely veggie feast plate from them every year and the lovely woman who works there always cheerfully rememebers me. callaloo, plantain, herby dumplings, a bean stew, rice and pea. Awesome

Tagine from the Moroccan stall between Other Stage and West Holts, beautifully spiced with a big serving of cous cous. A good evening warmer.

Curry at William's Green - New entry this one, and I can't remember the name of the stall, but there was a new curry stall in the food market area at William's Green this year. They were giving out some free samples of their curries. I think it was a Daal that I had, and it was bloody delicious. Not too pricey either, as I remember it.

I'm sure there are lots of other favourites that I've left out here. I'm always partial to some fried halloumi, a thai curry, or a decent pie mash and peas, too. Have done Pie Minister to death, though, living in Bristol.

Really don't get the appeal of the Growler or the Welsh Oggie, other than for their sheer mass. The Oggie certainly does the job of cementing your stomach for a whole day, but it's a pretty dour joyless slab of grease.

Sometimes the Growler just hits the spot. I know it's low grade, I know it's bad value for money, but I once planned a day of drinking around having a growler at the perfect moment and MY WORD, that fatty, carby concoction was good. Far, far better than it had any right to be.

It was good.

May have been said before but last year we discovered the Sub Aqua Café which is next door to the Cockmill Lock-up. 24hours and billed as they best breakfast at Glasto. Can't vouch for that myself but they do, do a very good fry up. Recommend to anyone who happens to pass that way. Had one every morning as walked past when coming in from TF.

Is it a southern thing? Can't say I've ever seen it up north, I'll give it a try if I come across it for sure as it sounds delicious.
