I reckon the final headliner's gonna be Bombay Bicycle Club...

Both Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne are in the lineup which makes sense cause they did 'Rather Be' together... then Rae Morris, who did 'Luna' with BBC is one of the main artists but she's done barely anything else so it seems a bit weird for her to be high up, so it'd make sense if it was BBC!

Possible, no?

For me I would like to have seen Wild Beasts play this year, Sorry not a great fan of Suede.

If anyone fancies Northern Soul Dance School then I can deffo say he will be playing (cause its my son) and confirmed on the web site. Come along and try it, last year was a great laugh and its always a hit at Kendal, Beatherder and Festival No 6

Now Prince! lets get this thing started.

Definitely not the former...nice try though!

I'm not a huge fan (largely because of his politics), but 'Photosynthesis' is a bloody great tune.

If the Mondays had been headlining and he was subbing there probably wouldn't have been so many raised eyebrows...so overall still think its a strong booking.

I understand what you mean about his politics, but I think this has been misinterpreted by a lot of people. A lot of his views are quite left wing even though he says he doesn't like socialism.

Anyway, best to keep away from politics. I've seen him three times and enjoyed each one. The headliner spot at Beautiful Days in 2012 was probably the best. I think FT is a worthy headliner for a festival the size of Kendal. Mondays should definitely be subbing him.

By the way Lippy, didn't you go to Godiva last year? Happy Mondays and Skabilly Rebels (Roddy Radiation ex Specials) are the first two bands announced. A couple more decent announcements and I might pop over again as it's free.

Wasn't sure what my 17 year old daughter was going to make of the line up so far as she hasn't grown out of V yet but she is very happy. Looking forward to Clean Bandit, razorlight, Tom Odell, Ella Eyre, Gorgon City, etc.

Me, I'm happy with Frank, Happy Mondays, Dub Pistols, The Heavy, Catfish & Bottlemen. I'm okay with Suade but was never really into them.

Well that's me in.

Never been but been tempted last couple of years, couple of friends go every year and rave about it so going give it a bash.

And lippy raves about it so must be a good one..

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
