I think they are perfect OS headliners, personally. Whether the masses would agree is another matter. They were solid at Reading in '08 and I'd love another chance to see them.

They had an excellent atmosphere for the Finsbury Park gig...I can imagine that translating well to Glastonbury even if we have to settle for Other Stage

+1,000,000 for me. Would be an absolutely amazing alternative to a soft headliner. They got a Christmas Number One so they definitely could pull off a great set, massive pull factor (not that Glasto needs many more) Deftones subbing them would be a dream come true.

I remember watching them back in 1994 at Glasto and more recently at Reading. Years apart but both really good solid live performances, and fukkin mental too!

Bring them back to Pilton twenty years on in 2014.

+1,000,000 for me. Would be an absolutely amazing alternative to a soft headliner. They got a Christmas Number One so they definitely could pull off a great set, massive pull factor (not that Glasto needs many more) Deftones subbing them would be a dream come true.

Well the circumstances around them getting that Christmas number one were so different I don't think it can be used. Normally you'd be right and getting to number one would mean having a great deal of mainstream appeal (or aren't 'too metal')but since it was a concerted and organised public campaign to get them there by appealing to all those who hate the x factor system I don't think it proves they have the mainstream following.

I know it does sound pretty heavy but both bands have actually played before and both bands were very popular in the 90s so do have a large following. You have admit it does sound very good.

They'd only headline, I really doubt they'd play though. Other than the finsbury park gig, all their other shows since reforming have been huge paydays.
