Lineup 2015

Muse are a bit off the radar these days people a bit bored of them, foos barely sold enough tickets for wembley stadium as well

Foos sold out two dates at Wembley stadium rather quickly, and that was six years ago anyway.

Weren't Muse meant to be doing one this year? One in North America and one in Europe? I know they're doing one in South America now so I don't know if that's changed things.

Doesn't have any bearing on what you're saying, I just don't know if I remember that correctly.

They said that in one interview in Vegas last year - they're doing coachella but nothings been said for Europe yet. Even though they're supposably doing a 20th anniversary tour but god knows whats happening with that.

okay... well Muse were good on their arena and following stadium tour, while the setlist was a bit shit they were fun - so I have no idea where you're coming from with that one. AND Foo's Wembley dates were over 6 years ago no? Since then they've done quite a bit, including selling out MK Bowl twice and well in advance.

I think they just said they may do one in America and one in Europe.

skipp to 3.23 and u can see empty seats on the left

Those seats are for standing people you idiot. At stadium shows general admittance allows you to either stand on the field or sit in the lowest action of seats on a first come, first served basis. They're hardly ever full. Mind you, I'd say they would be for someone like Coldplay because you'll have loads of older people who can't stand for the whole thing.

Fair enough. I expected them at something big and probably well paying like Werchter but they wouldn't fit there now.

Nah to be fair mate, at a Coldplay stadium gig there's probably enough people to fill every seat and the pitch. There's no chance of seeing them at a festival because they're so fucking huge, so people without tickets will be parachuting into the stadium.

Anyway, Coldplay headlined T on their last album tour, so where the fuck has this idea that they're too big for festivals except Glastonbury come from?

haha. Coldplay are clearly the only band to ever fill a stadium up.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
