AC/DC Have apparently confirmed to people they are touring the UK in June, that's where the DL / Glasto rumours are from.

I think AC/DC doing Download is way more likely than Glasto.

I think download will be slipknot, AC/DC, maybe the faith no more sound garden coheadline that's been going round?

In the glasto section, Neil said that foos have been in talks with glasto before. But chosen R&L in the past because grohl loves the festival. I reckon we could see foos being back as reading as a safe big booking.

As will said, my guess is muse, fleetwood and Florence for glasto.

If they're touring UK in June then that makes them very unlikely for Download.

"Touring" could mean play a festival though. I can't see AC/DC playing lots of shows in one country, maybe one or two dates maximum. So to them, a headline show at download would count as a UK tour.

I assume they would be in Europe too but it was Johnson himself that said those stadium dates would happen, and Download wouldn't book them with other huge dates and have nixed negotiations because of ot before, which was all I meant by them being unlikely.

Royal Blood's debut has sold 40K in two days and is on course to block Ariana Grande (that annoying american singer) from going #1.

If Royal blood continue they could sell 80,000 upwards, which is more than Kasabian managed with their newest album.

I knew they were an up and coming band, but I didn't think they were that big!

Justin Timberlake
Kanye West
Jay-Z

    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
