Hi all, only one week left, can't wait! :D

I have a question I hope you guys can help me with: me and my friends have XL-tickets, so we'll be arriving on Wednesday. I was hoping to arrive early, but one of my friends has to work on Wednesday so it looks like we'll be getting there quite late. Any idea how fast the campsites will be full? Would it make sense for me to travel alone so that I can get there early and secure a good spot, or will there be enough space left later at night?

And I just read something about gazebo's being prohibited. I just bought one :( Do you think they will be very strict?

Thanks and see you all next week! :D

I think you'll be fine getting to the campsite late tbh. I hear the hive takes around 30,000 people!

I fear that they will be strict about Gazebo's unfortunately. Take it along and ask a marshall by all means but it may be a wasted effort, sorry!

See you next week though! Cannot wait!! :D

I have Few questions...

1. Where can i buy a good folding chair at the festival?

Will the camping store have one?

I need it couse i got a permission to use it on the festival becouse of feet pain.

2. How hard is it to get into the front lines of the stages?

London grammer will perform an hour before robert plant and i want to be in the first rows in robert plant. Do u think i need to give up on london grammer for that?

Arriving 30 minutes before every concert and wait will do it?

3. What about videos of the concerts?

I dont see many full werchter concerts on youtube.

At pinkpop they upload almost every concert to youtube...

4. I also have a permission to use the add campsite (for the disabled).

where is it? Can someone tell me? What stop do i need?

The bus takes us to there?

Please help...

Thank u

First time going to Rock Werchter and very excited!

I also have concerns over how many food and drink coupons to buy! Obviously we have a limited amount of food/drink to take into our campsite, could anyone recommend a good amount to buy per person?

Are there only showers in the Hive campsite? Been a few years since i've been to a festival (t in the park) and the toilets have left a mental scar in my head haha also encountered many what im guessing were NEDS! :) Im praying that things are just a little bit nicer in Belgium :)

Can't wait for RW!

I booked my train tickets last week but just got an e-mail reminding me I need to book them. Was this a mass e-mail/mistake or should I be worried that I didn't book them properly? I have them printed out and everything looks fine but the E-mail threw me a little aha.

Also my sister is a vegetarian, anyone who has been before have any idea if food trucks cater for vegetarians in any substantial way or will she be living off chips all weekend?

I have a few questions:

1) how much food does one food token actually buy you - for example a burger = 1 token or does it cost more than that? It's hard deciding how many to buy when I don't know how much food it'll get me!

2) how quickly do the campsites fill up on Thursday morning? (I only have a normal ticket). How early would you recommend getting there for me to easily get to the site I want?

3) how long does it take to queue up for a good view of the acts (especially main stage), or are there big screens etc so that you still get a good view even at the back?

4) how strictly do try enforce the 12 can per person alcohol rule? Do they search bags for other bottles? and also how easy is it to get alcohol in Brussels? (this is where I'll be before getting the train)

please please please any help will be appreciated ☺️

Food is usually more than 1 token usually about 3 for something decent.

Campsites fill up quick from my previous experiences. I would get there early as possible more so to get your wristband for entrance to festival if you want to see any of the bands on early thursday.

As for the view of the acts - very easy to get to the front for all the acts. Never had an issue before. Unlike UK/Ireland festivals as 99% of festival goers have manners will gladly let you pass if you want.

Have never been searched too bad and have always got more than 12 beers and always few bottles of vodka in plastic bottles too.

Thank you!

Is there an option to call the festival camping store and ask them just to be sure?

Do you people think that if i'll take the folding chir to the front rows people would be mad at me?

I woldnt enjoy seeing my favorite bands not in the front rows...

i got a permission from Intro.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
