one little question... why are you all so sure Babyshambles are gonna cancel? they have the hyde park gig on 5 an Babyshambles play RW on 6 so what?

I know that Pete Doherty is different but, there are a lot of bands that play differents gigs day after day on different countries, I don't really see the problem...

It's not that practical as you'd think: different countries + different band + merely 14-15h after his Libertines gig (since it's an afternoon slot) + I can't see him not getting wasted after his biggest gig in 4 years.

And we're talking about the guy who thought his cat giving birth was more important than a main stage slot at RW in 2008. Even without the Hyde Park gig, it's not even worth betting on a cancellation.

Awesome man, I will look both of them up. Trentemoller is the highlight of the festival for me, so I'd enjoy a good club in Amsterdam. Any idea as to whether we have to catch one train or two to get from Leuven to Amsterdam?

What is the fastest and easy way to get from london to brussels?

The euro star?

Im about to book a flight

That starts at 6:50 am to 9 am.

Will it be ok?

That means that in 3 am i need to wake up and go to the airport and cant sleep well in the night (3 hours before flight).

When do i need to get to the camping site?

when the concerts start in july 3?

first time at werchter , got some questions:

1.Is there a supermarket close to the festival where I can buy canned goods and other food for the camp?
2.I have a XL camp ticket, is it possible that my friend will come the day after with regular camping ticket and ask to enter my area claiming we kept a place for him?

Not entirely RW based but my mate managed to get me a Glastonbury resale ticket this morning, meaning i'll have 5 days at Glastonbury, ~48 hours rest, and then 5 days at Rock Werchter...

Just wondering if anyone has done this before and if so did they cope ok? I'm just kind of worried i'll be so exhausted after Glasto... :/

Did exactly the same in 2011 and going to do it again this year. I guarantee you it'll be great, and there will be less band clashes at Glastonbury as you'll have the chance to see a lot of bands one week later.

Just try to sleep as much as possible between the two festivals. You'll need it ;)

Hey.

Just tried to buy a regoular camping ticket and it says that it made a reservation?

Is it a waiting list?

I have 1 camping ticket and i want to go with my girlfriend.

What about xl camping ticket, also sold out?

Can 1 xl ticket go to the same area that 1 regoular ticket?

what can i do now?

Thanks

I thought that the combiticket includes the camping...

Kensington would very nice fit in a day on which Kings of Leon are headliners. It's strange that Chvrches aren't on the bill anyway... It's good to have the Babyshambles cancellation 2 months before the festival and not at the same day...

    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
