Slow? Last year they were extremely early with the first names but for 2011 and 2012 the first names were announced around this time I remember. Don't worry. The only possible RW-headliners that announced festivals so far are QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys and Arcade Fire. Guess there'll be revealed a lot over the next few weeks.

I saw him at TW Classic two years ago and I thought he was great. But I'm not sure if I'd want him as a headliner....but as a sub? Absolutely

In 2008 Lenny Kravitz was a sub (third down actually, if you include the closing dance act), so no, he won't be headlining. I'd still consider TW Classic an option as well, even though he played there two years ago.

I am planing to go to rock werchter in 2014 and it is the first festival i have ever gone to! i will be camping with a few of my freinds and im sure we will be drinking a lot!

i would just like to know what to expect in relation to camping and the social aspect of festivals? because that is what im most looking forward to out of the trip. also what is there to do when you are not watching a performance, like it there silent discos or anything of that sort?

Anyone thinking next week to co-incide with sonisphere announcing?? (Sonisphere UK is the same weekend as werchter), soni supposedly having something big lined up so could see a lot of crossover with the two festivals, thinking Metallica and Pearl Jam could headline both!

Should add, I meant first week in Dec, seeing how Download are announcing tomorrow.

The only thing that had me thinking Linkin Park wouldn't play was Andy Copping suggesting they were only doing Download, so now I think they'll play.

Linkin Park, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys as 5 of the top 8, as Gossard said.
