Well you got my hopes up about massive attack! I could see it happening tho. Could also see Bjork coming back, which would be most welcome

Can't say the rumoured headliners do much for me, but there's guaranteed to be plenty I want to see once the line up is complete

Other headliners - Bjork (They always have one huge other stage headliner, this year is portishead), Bombay Bicycle Club, The National.

I think if the 'heavier' Sunday Other headliner* remains a constant then Pixies would fit in well. I know they're not that heavy, butI can't think of any alternative that are a similar fit.

* Smashing Pumpkins had a longer set than The xx so I consider them headliners.

Stone Roses would definitely headline. Can never fathom their popularity myself but there we go.

Does 'knowing' the Pyramid headliners make it any easier to guess the subs? I don't see much evidence that they try to make them complement each other, Primal Scream into Stones aside. I think if anything they keep them a bit different to ease crowd distribution.

Rightly or wrongly, if Stone Roses play, they headline - no way are they subbing. Maybe headline other, but even then I doubt it.

I don't think The National are big enough to headline Other, no. Ooh, how about The National into Pixies on the same day as Elbow? Perfect.

well Bjork hasn't played glastonbury since 2007 and hasn't done many UK shows for Biophilia. It's a pretty normal touring pattern to do own shows in Autumn (playing Ally Pally in September) and then do festivals the following summer

don't think you'd get Bjork and Massive Attack tho. They're relatively similar, musically, so reckon it would be one or the other.

and surely The Stone Roses will have split up by next summer?!

I thought they'd have been split up by now, so they've done well. They can't survive for much longer without new material though I wouldn't have thought.

The Strokes would be a good Other headliner. They're not touring Comedown Machine but if they did in fact peddle out an album to get out of their contract and do something new then who knows.

Nine Inch Nails also comes to mind. Headlined Other before and would be a decent draw.

I'm not sure about TBK, but am quite positive for other two.

2010 - Faithless and Dizzee as subs

2011 - Pendulum as a sub

2013 - Dizzee as sub

I'd expect one along those lines.

I do think though that Noel and Flo could be swapped but Noel subbing Elbow does seem a good fit but Noel into DM would be great.

they could and it'd be awesome but not sure they'd be booked back so soon to do it, I know DIzzee was but he's a lot more mainstream and all that right now
