And I think T's booking policy is miles away from Glastonbury's. You can't use Glastonbury as an example of something that T could do.

We will all see if it's a one of or not, bit unfair saying arcade fire wouldn't headline if they were available because Titp had dodgy pop headliners this year.

Arcade Fire are more than ready for a Glasto headline spot, certainly more than the likes of Mumford n co, they'll smash it if/when they get to go ahead, will be their next UK headline show most likely, dont see them playing any other of the big ones next year though.

So the big Arctic Monkeys announcement is that they're playing Finsbury Park on the 23rd and 24th of May.

Doesn't count them out if T so far as I can tell. May even compliment their big England shows to do a big Scottish festival appearance

2011 had one of the best line ups I've ever seen at any festival.

Had Arcade Fire been quoted as a possible headliner for 2012 on the back of the 11 line up then there would be no arguing at all about suitability and relevance.

Its amazing how much damage the last 2 years has done to T's credibility on these boards!

If they play I'll be there regardless of any other announcements, that's how good they are (can't wait for tonight!!).

Biffy seems like the most obvious choice but KOL have been doing lots recently and wouldn't be surprised.

If arctic monkeys is possible and it's therefore not to soon then what's saying coldplay won't headline. They just announced their first London show in over a year, possible end of 2014 album we could see them play a fest or 2 with some new material, that's what they did in 2011 when they headline T and glastonbury, not sure they will headline T this year but possibility?
