Best Food You Chomped

The best burger was definitely the Rare Breeds Burger van in the acoustic/cinema field. The third best was still one of the best burgers I've tasted, by the way, so the competition was stiff.

number 2 was the Cumbrian Chuck Steak burger in the main market and 3 was the venison burger in the Park.

Pan de mania i think its called. Wood fired pizza just by the entrance to acoustic field. Next door was the Indian bhatti wrap place. Both excellent... in 5 days i had 5 pizza and 3 wraps!

Jerk Chicken place as you walk towards West Holts and opposite it was an amazing baguette place, sadly these were only discovered on Saturday. Ate some Mexican on Friday near the other stage which resulted in 4 number 2's on Saturday.

The Growler of course! One of those and I'm not hungry until dinner time!

Also the paella stall near the William's Green tent was superb! Ended up getting 3 over the course of the weekend.

And a big shout out also to the Hare Krishna tent giving out free lunches, it was some kind of potato & lentil thingy which tasted surprisingly nice and really filling too. I found that tent really interesting, I don't know much about Hare Krishna but just being in there for a little bit makes me want to find out more (not that I want to actually be one with all due respect)

There was an interesting "make your own pizza" thing near the permaculture area which I didn't sample myself but my friends really enjoyed - along with the £1.50 for a mug of strong local cider stall next to it, which I did sample!

The Mexican place between the Other stage and Leftfield, on the opposite side to the growler stall was good value, very big portions, nice and spicy.

As someone else mentioned the sausages from the Grand Bouffe place were amazing as always.

First Glastonbury in a while I've not had a Pieminister - didn't even see the stall.

La Grand Bouffe - sausage and tartiflette - surprisingly good considering it is right next to the Pyramid.

The veggie Mexican in the Park - had a lovely spicy burrito there on Weds night

Fab fresh onion bhajis from a place next to The Blues - on the left before John Peel - can't remember its name...

The hog roast opposite Bread and Roses bar - but they could be more generous with their amazing crackling!!

Funky Falafel on right on walk from Pyramid to Other - yummy plate of salad, halloumi, hummous and falafels

Favourites were probably the Huevos Rancheros and the creme brûlée tart. Special mention to the fella at Soul Food who was obviously getting rid of stuff and gave us a huge bowl of chilli and tagine for just £3! It was gorgeous too!

Superstew or something like that, near the fluffy rock cafe. Breakfast for £5 rice, beans, bacon, mushroom, and Cumberland sausage stew topped with an egg.

Managed to get to goan fish curry place twice this year, and had a kegeree which was lovely

Chicken and haloumi cibatta roll with garlic mayo and their lovely home made salsa from Ken's Barbi aside The Other Stage, Chicken Burrito from Carlito Burrito near the Pyramid and Chicken tikka masala/balti at the West Country curry place in Williams Green were my three favourites!

The Morroccan Lamb Tagine I had from the stall on the way to the Pyramid Stage was easily the best food I ate over the 6 days.

£2 for a fuck-off-big bag of chips from near the park: Bargain of the week

Pita Bread stuffed with Crisps and BBQ Sauce from SM Tesco: Not great, but probably kept me fed most of the week.
