Christ yeah wasn't Jones something like £17mil? I can't imagine them getting anywhere near that if they decided to sell him now.

He's got £8mil to Hull written all over him.

Fergie certainly spent big money on potential, mostly it hasn't come of.

Bit unfair on Jones though as he plays out of position mostly, same with Smalling. They both need to cement the position down this coming season.

Smalling is been playing for Utd for 4+ years. When does he stop being a rookie? :P

Thought Barry may have snuck in, although I'm not sure who I would have left out to for him in but he certainly warrants a place ahead of Cleverley. And the centre-back cover (or lack of it) is pretty worrying. Jones and Smalling are not really international standard, surprised that Stones is the back-up but outside of Caulker we're struggling for alternatives. And I'm glad he left Carroll out, if not just to prove to Fat "Hodgson hasn't got the balls to take Carroll" Sam and his playground cod-psychology isn't welcome around here.

Frank can still come on and potentially take the game by the scruff of the neck. Cole would just be warming the bench; better to take Shaw, perhaps even Flanagan, to get a feel of the international setup.

    • I mean selling out (more or less) three consecutive nights at Wembley is pretty good in my view. TBF of you haven't heard of him, that's your problem! The cover of Fast car with Tracy Chapman has been streamed over a billion times. That's Swift/Rodrigo/Styles levels of streaming. But it's all subjective and each to their own at the end of the day
    • Ok, so by your argument, you'd be happy if they booked LadBaby and two new K-Pop bands that have just blown up to headline as you are free to go elsewhere 😉
    • Is it so wrong I didn't know who he was before he booked his Wembley shows? The fact its among the gigs that has had the most people I know going on Instagram stories hints that he's popular. I don't deny that.   Whether its enough to get him into this conversation is another matter.
    • You are free to go elsewhere 😀
    • Ugh, no thanks. I don't deny he's popular. There's no accounting for taste, I guess.
