I didn't even notice that they were walkways, I DJs had to climb up inside the centre structure.

You could never get "underneath" the Spider thingy before, looks like this will be a much better design for that area.

Where are all the trees though? Always remembered it being leafy there.

I have to say, I am very happy that we get to see the line up for arcadia as all as appose to the earlier rumours of there not being one released and you just see who turns up when you are there. I'm hoping for Aphex Twin, i'd wet my pants if that happened - just sayin'

How loud can they be on a night time

does this mean park and pennard camping will be noisier

If you think about it, it's quite good that it's close to the Other Stage. Somewhere usually quiet at night and out the way from all the other late-night areas.

I'm remaining optimistic, even if it is insanely close to the Other.

its a shame that it'll be used so little during the festival, personally i think it's wasted there because of that

to make it worthwhile they'll have to put some big acts on..

If anything, it helps. Silver hayes isnt too far from this, and the situation was before, if you were in the naughty corner, and fancied a trip to the Oxylers/Dance it was a trek. now you can be persuaded to go here first, and then move on.

I think Arcadia will now be in the BBC TV aerial shots and will look amazing on TV if the flames are flying whist the headliners are on

Arcadia use a Funktion-One Ambisonic sound system - one of the advantages of which is that sound can be heavily localised, limiting external impact (obviously there will still be some - but maybe not as much with a conventional setup)

Be cool if they could run an audio cable to the mixing desk on the other stage and blast it out of that. A phono lead should do the job

Arcadia will start when the band on the Other stage has finished. There wont be anything on before then, apart from on the Thursday.

That's how they'll control it.
