Hows tricks mate??

If thats the lineup (well some of it) then its not too bad. Arctics and Jay Z are good safe bookings. Love Jake Bugg myself. 1975 will be most places as will Lilly Allen.

If they were the acts what would people expect the lineup to look like?

I would go something like:

Jay Z

Lilly Allen

Miley Cyrus

Arctic Monkeys

Tinie Tempah

Chase and Status

then Bastille, Jake Bugg, Tom Jones and Mcbusted on the main stage and 1975 high on the 2nd

IMO swap Chase and Lilly around. But somthing like that i guess

Is it just me who doesnt get why V would get Miley... she just doesnt really fit in the line up and isnt really a very good singer/ have real fans to buy tickets

same reason as to why they got Nicki Minaj a couple of yrs ago. Act of the moment.

It's interesting to see since arctic monkeys announcement for T they've fell off as a rumour for R&L. Don't T and V have the same promoter booking the artists? Could be a shoe in for next year now

Na I'm sure R/L is Fest Republic and T is DF concerts

Why is there no V 2014 rumours on the efest page?

So Arctic Monkeys front runners now?

i would presume because there are no solid enough rumours to make one yet.

Arctics are 1 of many names, but yeah prob the most likely. The bloke with somw info in prev years mentioned them and Jay Z

He is normally pretty good with info. They're probably the people V are speaking to now, if deals can't be made they can look elsewhere at the mo, plenty if time ain't there

R&L normally want there headliners on some kind of exclusive, because they are worried about having a band who has got a saturated audience and so wont sell tickets... now Artics with there two massive gigs and T in the Park points more towards V with R&L next year.

However i hope they play Leeds this year.

    • Muse will be about but the issue with Muse is that they’ll have the pick of doing IOW, BST, Glasto, R&L or big parks/stadiums.

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
