Saw the HMs in Bristol tonight - they were excellent, in a heritage kind of way. Their website says:

'Please note: This event was originally scheduled for June 29th at The Forum and rescheduled due to Bezs Glastonbury commitments to Friday November 22nd. All tickets remain valid for the new date.'

I'm surprised they would shift an already announced London date, where they've been selling tickets, by a few months to accommodate Bez at Glastonbury - he was only on stage for a couple of songs last night!

Would love to see them added, saw them a few years ago not expecting to enjoy it but they were brilliant and one of the loudest gigs I have been to.

I'd imagine this will be The Mondays last tour.. so the canceling of this gig gives me a bit of hope they may play.

The Mondays or and James would make me a very happy man.

Really thought this was them playing this year and got excited too! Seen them last year at T and thought it was brilliant watching back Shaun's vocals weren't fantastic but at the time he sounded great. Bez was only on for around 3 songs Kinky Afro, Step On and Wrote For Luck.

I know I'm clutching at straws here but that gig cancellation on the 29th of June has played on my mind ever since.

If, and it's a big if, they happened to pop up somewhere, where would it be?

Could they realistically do a secret gig on the Sunday in the Acid House??, Bez's All Stars????

Same for me, supporting Oasis at The "Classic Reebok" Stadium.

It just seems odd to cancel that gig on Glasto weekend, better offer maybe? Like I said in a previous post.. This will probably be they're last tour.

I can imagine them headlining The Park. Former Pyramid headliners playing better than ever now they're cleaned up. Saw them last year and it was a great show.
