was part of the singles thread on here a few years ago and a couple of the people that met up at the festival in 2010 are still together, I had a little on off romance with someone I met in 2010 but thats now fizzled out,

I'm now going this year as a single 23yr old looking to have an awesome festival, if I happen to bump into a female that happens to be the love of my life or a little romance then I'm not going to stop that

Why the desire to meet someone at Glasto? I wouldnt rule out meeting someone anywhere really... things have a funny habbit of happening when you least expect them.

My mate met a bloke at the stone circle in 2009. Over the early easter bank holiday, they hired a country manor, had a mini weekend 'glastonbury' themed festival........and got married. I've always thought Glastonbury meant loads to me, but I can't argue that it means more to them than most people.

I got chatting to a lovely couple in the greenfields one year. She told me that they got married 26 years ago and they meant at a very old Glastonbury, had their honeymoon their and have been going every year since. She even said that one year they didn't get tickets and she sent a like to Eavis just explaining and wasn't really expecting a reply. He replied and sent her two tickets. Doubt this would happen now. I do hope they got tickets this year! Would be a shame to stop their tradition.

Not my story but a very cool one at that - and both of them were lovely.

I think you're confusing "finding love" with "finding sex", you can find the former without having to engage in the latter you know...
