I bought hand warmers (perhaps too many!) and glow sticks (definitely too few!) I got 100 off ebay a few years ago, it was great

Just been to Go Outdoors and picked up a camp bed (£10) and a camping chair with drinks holder (£6).

Come home and assembled said camping bed. It's basic, it's a bit fiddly, but after lying down on the finished product, it will definitely be worth it. After10 or so major camping festivals, I've had enough of lying on the cold hard ground and a tenner is a bargain.

Packs up really small and fairly light as well

Excitement level: Fever pitch! This time next week I'll be drunk as a skunk on festival strength and ready to wonder about and see where the evening sunshine takes me

Have been suffering horrifically with hayfever today. This has reminded me that on Saturday I need to go and buy an arsenal of hayfever products to see me through the festival.

Spoke to the other people in our group and organised where and what time we are meeting in Glastonbury town as we are all coming from different parts of the country

Ordered an british army issue waterproof jacket, though obviously i wont be needing it!

Dug my old mobile our and put a new sim in it. Saves potentially buggering up my newer one.

Packed the car and caravan we are off tomorrow morning at 7am driving down from Scotland with a couple of stops on the way arriving Tuesday.
