the first min or so of this shows crew working over night to put up a runway... not sure how easy it would be at glasto... not sure of I.O.W stage times so how long crew would have to actually do it and how not having an arena would affect this

Won't happen due to the secondary pit barrier, though time wise it could be done easily with the front of stage temporarily fenced off

Possibly, but I doubt it would extend over the pit barrier.

Guess they could extend and change the shape of the pit barrier, timescale wouldn't be an issue.
