I reckon Biffy will get the biggest crowd of the weekend just as there will be less crowd split than the Eminem day. I think outside of headlining System will get the biggest crowd.

On NME I think the biggest crowd will definitely be Skrillex; absolutely massive booking. However I also reckon it'll be absolutely packed for Bastille, Jake Bugg and Disclosure; especially as Bastille is up against Deftones who I doubt will draw that big of a crowd.

Knife Party will probably draw a dangerously large crowd on the Dance stage and I reckon it'll also be packed for Flux Pavilion and Baauer.

I actually reckon ASIWYFA will draw a big crowd; it was pretty packed in FR in 2011 and they have got bigger since then. Plus with it being the Biffy day there should be a lot of crossover for those in the know.

The sort of people who see acts in the Lock Up tent probably won't be there this year; will be able to play football all day long in there.

I think Spector will attract the least dismal crowd of three FR headliners, but still pretty dismal. The biggest crowd will be The 1975 and it will be Ed Sheeran level.

I reckon that Wretch 32 will get a pretty good crowd, but I expect a big crowd for Mikill Pane.

Really? Almost everyone I know is planning on seeing Knife Party and Skrillex, and I haven't heard one person say they're seeing Magnetic Man. I agree Magnetic Man will probably draw a bigger crowd than Sub Focus but I was comparing them to the acts I mentioned.

Just because there are Ben Sherman wearing sixth formers on a social media soapbox saying 'band x is the mod' doesn't give them a separate genre to indie. The only bands in recent years I'd consider calling 'mod' would be The Rifles and The Ordinary Boys.

As for Alt-J, I can't see them drawing that big a crowd, but I suppose it'll be the place to be for most of the indie fans. They're one of those bands who's popularity I don't understand. I'm 17 and know about three people who don't hate Alt-J.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
