Dance music is a big deal for me and I'm happy enough with what's been announced so far - Greg Wilson, Julio Bashmore, Randall, Kerri Chandler, SMD, Horsemeat Disco. How many of these am I even going to end up getting to anyway!

The dance acts announced to date have been underwhelming and the Pyramid and Other stages are lacking a big dance act. To think we were discussing Daft Punk at one time!

I heard that you and your band have sold your guitars and bought turntables.

Was initially shocked at what I thought was a severe lack of dance music, but there's so much more to come. Rustie's self-confirmation will no doubt be officially confirmed with a load of other late night dance stuff.

Really interested to see how they place it all in this new area.

Personally, I look at the block 9 line up and I can't wait to get involved. Kerri chandler, Jeremy underground Paris and brawther to name a few. Greg Wilson for the 80s disco.. I don't personally feel I will be leaving block 9 all weekend.

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
    • Glad I’ve still got it booked off for my 50th
