there's loads of stuff about it out there on the internet. Granted it's generally spouted by people who you might affectionately refer to as crackpots, but would you really be surprised? I've read stuff that is pretty compelling.

The upper classes have been allowed to do exactly as they please without fear of consequence since time began.

The evidence for that is... ? I know "losing" those documents is incredibly dodgy but how can you say that's true? It's a bit David Icke.

there's plenty of anecdotasl evidence around it - and yet it's well over a year since Tom Watson raised in the HoC, and only now is anything happening around it.

It's not like they've been destroying the evidence in the meantime, is it?

About 15 years ago I was in a pub with a mate who told me there was a rumour going around London. A burgular had broke into Rolfs house and found loads of photos of naked kids in a drawer. I just shrugged it off at the time but always had a niggling doubt. Makes you wonder how many people where aware of what was going on.

given what he was found guilty of, that seems a bit light.

Sentencing for abuse is really odd to me. I personally cant think of a more disgusting crime yet it always seems the sentences are so lenient. Seriously, is there anything worse than child abuse? Why does the judiciary in certain countries and society still seem to think its somewhat of a minor offence. This man was abusing kids for decades! He gets effectively 3 years? The mind boogles............

He was sentenced under the law at the time the offences were committed, in an ideal world he would have been caught and sentenced at the time, justice 30 plus years late isn't real justice for anyone. The victims have had to endure years of pain and Harris wasn't punished for his crimes as he should have been (acting as a deterrent).

I'd say, against other similar child abuse crimes and their sentences, Rolf seems to have been treated harshly.

(that's not me saying he shouldn't be, just to make it clear).

I'm not trying to make his crimes seem minor, but within the realms of child abuse, from what i've seen reported, Rolf's crimes were at the more-minor end of things.

Here's betting that Dave Cameron's buddy who's just been charged with something similar gets a tiny sentence in comparison.

My pleasure in finding out Coulson had been found guilty was immediately cancelled out by the fact Brooke's got found not guilty! How the heck did she get away with it?

Because the police, under govt instruction to not pursue the case, allowed her years to clean up every bit of evidence. There's very solid evidence of the clean-up campaign, tho nothing that explicitly pin-points the 'why' that clean-up was happening.

In fact, News International (NI) have still not been investigated by the police. All of the evidence used in court was provided to the police by NI. And guess what Rupert had instructed them not to hand over to the police?

From the legal aspects I can see why she got off. There was no evidence of her being involved.

There was almost no evidence of Coulson being involved (again, nothing about him had been handed over to the police). The only real reason he's been found guilty is because some of the other minor players pleaded guilty and also fingered him as involved.

There's no doubt whatsoever that the establishment have run a cover-up on this. Who else gets to self-investigate accusations of criminal wrongdoing made against them?

Exactly this, it was all easy for them until the allegations started

jesus fucking christ though, never seen such a downfall in my life. To think this fucker was portrayed to so many kids as an artistic influence makes me sick. Fact he's graced worthy farm dozens of times also makes me feel sick too.
