I think that's come about from people originally thinking the poster reflected the times, so it might well not be true

I'm keen for this too but as someone who is unfamiliar with the work of The Orb, where would any of you recommend I start? Any albums in particular worth checking out?

The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld is sublime..........An album full of good memories for me.

I always loved the use of the Apollo voice recordings as samples.....

Both Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld and UF Orb are fantastic and have a significant place in my youth. Other than Orbus Terrarum and Cydonia, which I find a bit bland, I like pretty much everything I have heard by them and am really looking forward to seeing them. Had The Orbserver In The Star House pretty much on a loop recently.

I remember the way the media went ridiculous over them when UF Orb came out leading to them really pushing the limit with Pomme Fritz, which scared them all off again.
