Dukeicon
I think I have well under-estimated the amount of time spent drinking. Was looking at taking a 24 can crate for the entirety! Just out of interest how much is lager / cider once we are there?
Mouseboy11
Just realised I asked this in another thread but this seems more appropriate. Will I need to decant cans into plastic bottles or will I may ok getting in with crates? Also how likely am I to be ID'd at the entrance (I know it's likely at the bars)

Mouseboy11
Just glass bottles that need decanting. Not sure about ID, BUT I'd doubt they'd ask you on entry....are you under aged by any chance??
coma girl
The bars are subject to the same rules on ID as a normal pub so you may get caught out but someone else can always go to the bar for you I suppose.
MrHew
12 cans of Tanglefoot 2 bottles of port Get the rest from the bars so I don't have to carry too much.

cookglasto
18 pint bag-in-a-box of Boondoggle, which won't last past Thursday lunchtime. There are two of us! Numerous ales and ciders from many bars will also be consumed. (I might put a bottle of reasonable scotch or rum in a plastic bottle too, but don't tell anyone)
brightyoungthing
I generally take Koppaberg Pear cans x2 crates for the queue/ general carrying around. They taste okay warm, are small and aren't in glass. Then some form of flavoured vodka (1L), buy mixers there and a bottle of Malibu to Glasto taste like holidays! In 2011 we were drinking double JD & cokes (WITH ICE!) for £5-6 in the naughty corner somewhere, so it's not that expensive in some places if you can't be bothered lugging it around! griff_152
are you allowed to go back out to your car to save keeping it all in your tent? (stupid question - first time at glastonbury! )
coma girl
Yeah, we usually do a run back to the car on the Wednesday to get the rest of the booze. We do it from the point if view of not being able to carry it all in one go. But if its from a security/space point of view then just store it in the free lock ups, much easier than treking back to the car.

AiiShotTheDJ
I'm taking 24 strongbow cans, some sourz and sharing archers. I plan to do most of my drinking wed-sat so I can drive clean on Monday

Twoheadedwain
Does anyone know if you can buy kegs or crates when you're there? Trying to avoid the whole trailing heavy amounts there.
