I'm thinking Example, Stereophonics and then a more dance-y headliner. Dunno if I can see the Prodigy being there this year, got a feeling T in the Park have got them. David Guetta would be very very expensive, would be surprised if it was him. I think it's between Fatboy Slim, Chase & Status and Calvin Harris, but with Calvin's close ties with T, I'm leaning more towards Chase & Status or Fatboy Slim.

I feel with Example he's been everywhere for the past three years, especially in 2011 in terms of festivals, that having him as a headliner this year is not particularly exciting for any festival. He's released albums at the same rate as Rihanna since 2010.

The Calvin Harris/Example comparison is interesting as they've both had similar amounts of chart success but since Calvin Harris stopped performing live and played exclusively DJ sets, he's almost had to reinvent himself as an act.

    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
    • Thanks for the suggestion, had never heard of them yesterday and have picked up a ticket today.
