What do people think if the chances that madeon will be back next year or do you think T will have snapped him up now he's a bit more known?

Well he has got some of his own stuff and he is meant to be making some new of his own stuff but yeah last year it was mostly remixes.

I saw Madeon at Electric Ballroom and he was incredible!

Excellent set up and he had so much energy; jumping around the whole time having as much of a good time as the crowd, who definitely were having a lot of fun.

Would love to see him again.

The main person I hope they 're-book' is Porter Robinson. He was on the lineup last year but I don't even think it was a no show on his behalf cuz he was tweeting the whole time saying he said shows in Vegas etc so no idea what happened. Anyway, saw him at the Arches and it was incredible.

I'd imagine it'll be next week or perhaps even the end of this one. Pure speculation though, Rockness have never been great for keeping to their word about when announcements would be released.

Announcement will be out before this months payday (for most folk) I reckon, on the basis that T's lineup isnt doing much, I'm going to be quietly positive for the Rockness one...

They really need to have tickets and line-up out before the end of this month.

T tickets tend to go on sale mid-February with more line-up announcements in the week leading up to it. Rockness' tickets and line-up should be out before this.

T tickets were on sale the day after T, then again just before Xmas, all backed up by advertising.

And still didn't sell out on either sale so no benefit to it at all.

Rockness tickets should have been on sale months ago.

They are seriously going to struggle to shift them (or at least enough of them to make it viable) without a fabulous line up being announced and tickets going on sale at a reasonable price in the next couple of weeks.

They couldn't sell tickets without a date being confirmed.

Am sure there will be a large chunk of the line up being announced with early bird deals that will make it worthwhile.

Can't see any sense in delaying it any further as folk will just be planning other things, the communication about RN 2013 (with the exception of a couple of weeks ago on the website/twitter) has been non existant and it's less than 150 days away.

No point in communicating when there was nothing to communicate. Still over 5 months then, it's only been in the last couple of years that tickets went on sale prior to Christmas. As Rockness will have weekly sales figures, am sure they are in the best position to know when and at what price will be best.

i think the lack of contact has been quite justified by the fact they hadn't even confirmed the venue was available.

i hope they have a lineup to help sell out.

however i think it will either be drastic or absolutely unbelievable

Festivals never used to have a problem announcing lineups 5 months in the past (before the days of early bird tickets, 3 days etc T was never fully announced till February), no reason they have to now. If they have a good enough lineup it will sell to a decent amount of people, though the RN purists might not like it theres alot of folk that usually have their festival weekend down the road that will be looking for something else next summer.

T could leave its line up to last minute because there were always repeat customers who were basically going to go no matter what the line up was. That has changed now that it is a pop fest that stung its regulars last year.

I am concerned about Rockness. I wouldn't be surprised to see it cancelled if they don't announce a big ticket shifter very soon. It's dog eat dog in the festivals competition now and whilst other festivals are out hunting rabbits Rockness woud appear to have a Pedigree Chum label at the moment. I hope I'm wrong as it's my local festival and now it's not the same weekend as Download I wouldn't mind a wee looksee.

i've been thinking about what everyones saying.

no festival has announced a full lineup (i dont think) so i dont see why people are so uptight about it.

they'll probably end up being one of the first to announce the lineup .

i think it will be ok the same as it is every year and sell a reasonable amount of tickets.

we probably wouldnt be saying anything if they had a bit more contact with us.

I would argue he's a hell of a lot bigger than justice and more mainstream than deadmau5 ATM

Didn't he headline creamfields and tomorrowland ?
