Insufficient debit?

Just a question about how my ticket will go under transaction (or not).

I purchased the ticket with a debit card with £0 on, is it possible that I will go into my overdraft or am I likely to just have my ticket cancelled altogether?

if you have an agreed overdraft facility with your bank it will go through - if not you might be in a spot of bother as they may well decline it

If you have an authorised overdraft facility they you'll have no problems (unless you've gone above your overdraft limit).

If you don't have an authorised overdraft facility it will be dependant on your bank whether they will let you have an unapproved overdraft (which they'll charge you heaps for) or decline.

Mine went out my bank within 5 minutes of getting them

I think mine has come out - my "available balance" is down £300 but it's not showing on the online statement. OP, it will depend on your bank. Some will decline, some will allow you to pay but charge you for the privelidge.

I'd forgotten that UK sales had to be on a debit card rather than a credit card and had transferred most of my balance earlier in the week onto the wrong card, I'd usually been placing international orders before. Slightly scary moment on the payment page where I couldn't work out why it wasn't working. But within seconds of putting in the right details my balance online was showing a nice negative number.

I'll get charged for using the overdraft, but I don't care.

I entered my card details wrongly in the 2010 sale, and they just phoned me a few days later to sort it out.

Mine hasn't come out either. I rang the bank (llolyds tsb) and they could see the transaction there- the guy 'thought' it would be ok.. I will be much happier once it's gone though. He did comment it was a particularly busy day and finding out it was ticket day explained it.
