Thought they were a bit dull both times. It just doesn't translate well on an open stage imo. Though I think the 2nd time at Soni I had their gig indoors from 2009 to compare it too which was flawless, so maybe that's why I still didn't enjoy them.

Heard to today that Bon Jovi are doing a huge tour in 2013. They are playing Manchester on 8th June. Now, they could play a secret Thursday set? otherwise, I have them down at Rock Am Ring!

Green Day, The Prodigy and Iron Maiden will be RaR's headliners.

No chance whatsoever of a secret Bon Jovi set at Download on the Thursday where the only stage open is the Karaoke stage.

Big question mark over Green Day to be honest. Prodigy will not headline main, I think... Slipknot, Kiss (heavily rumored) and or Bon Jovi/Iron Maiden. I'm to sure. Hard to say.

The Prodigy are more than big enough to headline RaR and have done it before.

Kiss aren't heavily rumoured at all and neither are Bon Jovi.

Iron Maiden are long overdue a slot at RaR.

they're not signed up to do Download at the moment, that much I know.

Very likely, it's rare for bands to play high up at both festivals and especially on the same stage. FNM headlined the seond stage at R&L after headlining Download but they weren't announced until Download had been and gone, so I guess QOTSA could be a late announcement to headline the second stage at R&L, but only if you think they're small enough (personally I think they're too big for the tent).
