The Smiths

Madonna

The Pet Shop Boys

Prince

I could go on.

Although I don't think that the Human League have that big of a legendary status I would fucking love them to play, fantastic music.

Soz mr c you already stated that.

I read an interview with weller regarding bands reforming and he said something to the effect that its pretty much admitting that you have ran out of ideas of things to do. Don't know if he does the a hits set, but I wonder if he could get away with his normal set. I think he could.

Yes so you saw these bands make it, you'll recall them getting airtime on the wireless and some coverage on the TV, for me the earliest memories of music were probably from 95/96 at the age of 7/8 by this time the bands mentioned had already become superstars, so for me they were always superstars.

Struck me more and more that the last couple of years that the Sunday at the pyramid is for the day trippers and the line up is tilted more and more towards the potentially blander wider appeal stuff. I'd say that favours yer Fleetwood Mac types rather than anything else. Bet they'd want a mint to play though. With or without their legs.

Personally - I reckon the Beach Boys are a shoe in.
